After the “Tokyo Game Dungeon 5”

On May 4, I exhibited at the Japanese gaming convention “Tokyo Game Dungeon 5”.

This is the blog after that.

Today, I would like to talk about a new work in development, “STRAY SKETCH”.
I tweeted about it a while ago on Twitter ......

The style and genre of “STRAY SKETCH” is different from the first “mirror insideout” game, so you may be disappointed.
Compared to the first “mirror insideout,” it is a bit more subdued.

It is not an RPG, but a point-and-click style game where you just look at pictures.
That's why it always bothers me so much when I try to write an introduction.
(Maybe not so nuanced as “subdued”)

I developed “mirror insideout” with the goal of making it “easy to understand” for players.
However, “stray sketch” is not a messy work, but rather, I am doing 'what I want to do' and 'what I want to try.

I want to create works like the game brand “Desert Fox” and theirs. They are the creators I respect the most.

I am Japanese, but I want people outside of Japan to play my games.
Just as there are games in which text and story are the main focus, there are games in which visuals are the main focus.
90% of the in-game images are scans of my pencil drawings on paper.

In “mirror insideout,” I focused on the system and the navigation, so now I am challenging myself to make the visuals more appealing.

I hope you will take your time and wait for it.
